Job Description

Strong back, sharp eyes on the load sheet: that is what a furniture retailer warehouse in Mbombela wants. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is Mbombela-based, with most of your time spent at a furniture retailer warehouse.

What you'll actually do

Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first

What you need

Friendly with customers at the door
Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note

What's in it for you

Uniform and safety shoes provided
Help to get your own licence through the company later
Meal allowance on long-route days
Route-completion incentives in busy months

Applying, step by step

Make sure the role, the hours and working in Mbombela really suit you before you apply.
Have the following on hand (clear photos on your phone are fine at first): clear copy of your ID with a certification stamp plus CV noting any loading, moving or delivery work.
Fill in the short form below with your name and a phone number you actually answer.
Keep your phone on. Shortlisted applicants are contacted by call, SMS or WhatsApp within 6 working days.

How2Apply recruits for this position on behalf of hiring employers around Mbombela; applications go into our talent pool and shortlisted candidates are introduced directly.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

How to stand out

Keep your CV to one page with your phone number big and clear. Depot managers phone, they seldom email.
If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
