Machine Assistant (Plastics Moulding)

You'll keep the line running at a soft drink bottling plant in Brackenfell, feeding, checking and packing product all shift. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll report in Brackenfell. Relocation is not covered for this one. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Pack finished product into cases and stack them by batch number
• Weigh ingredients or additives against the recipe card
• Clean down machines and floors at the end of each run
• Feed raw material or empty packaging into the machine at the start of the line
• Wear hairnets, beard covers and gloves in food-safe zones
• Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers
• Record batch codes and counts on the hourly production sheet

• Basic reading and counting for batch sheets
• You follow hygiene rules without being reminded
• Neat, reliable and on time for shift start
• No problem wearing full PPE, including ear protection
• Available for rotating day and night shifts
• Able to stand for a full shift in a noisy, warm area

• Mention that you can work rotating shifts right at the top. It is the first thing most factories filter on.
• Name the products you worked on before, like "biscuit line" or "juice bottling". Factory recruiters read that faster than a job title.
