Job Description

The city hotel in Durban Central needs a reliable all-rounder to keep the buildings safe and looking good. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a city hotel on the Durban Central side of KwaZulu-Natal. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

What you'll actually do

Keep the maintenance store tidy and track stock used
Work through the maintenance log each morning and prioritise urgent requests
Change globes, fluorescent tubes and plug covers (no DB work)
Clear gutters and fix minor roof leaks with sealant
Patch, sand and paint walls, doors and ceilings between tenants

What you need

Available for the occasional weekend emergency
Honest and trusted to work inside occupied units
Your own tools are a plus, but safe tool handling is a must
Grade 10 at least; matric is a plus
