Job Description

You'll sell cover that families really use, from a financial advice practice in Somerset West. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is in Somerset West (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

The work, day to day

Follow up on quotes sent and chase missing documents.
Treat clients fairly under TCF rules and never oversell.
Do a needs analysis and match the client to the right product.
Visit clients at home or work for field advice appointments.
Read the FAIS disclosures and record client consent on every call.

Must-haves

You are comfortable earning a large part of your pay in commission
Six months or more of sales, telesales or call centre work
Matric, including Maths or Maths Literacy
FAIS fit and proper: clean credit and criminal record

Nice if you have

Your own car for field appointments
A qualification such as a Higher Certificate in Financial Planning
An existing client book (for field roles)
