Job Description

This insurance telesales floor in Tembisa pays a basic plus commission, and your pipeline sets the ceiling. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is Tembisa-based, with most of your time spent at an insurance telesales floor. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Save policies when clients call to cancel.
Visit clients at home or work for field advice appointments.
Keep your record of advice complete for compliance audits.
Track daily sales, conversions and lapse rates on the team board.
Capture new policies on the admin system and check debit order details.
Call warm leads from the dialler and qualify them in the first minute.
Treat clients fairly under TCF rules and never oversell.

You'll need

Honest selling, even when the easy sale is the wrong one
Credits toward a recognised FSCA qualification, or willing to start
Six months or more of sales, telesales or call centre work
Matric, including Maths or Maths Literacy
You are comfortable earning a large part of your pay in commission
RE5 passed, or willing to write it within the first year

Nice if you have

Your own car for field appointments
Completed class of business training for short-term or long-term insurance
