Medical Practice Receptionist – Experienced

Phones, visitors and bookings all come through you at this estate agency in Burgersfort. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Location: Burgersfort, Limpopo. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Sort incoming post and book couriers for outgoing documents.
• Keep the reception area neat and the coffee station stocked.
• Scan, file and archive documents in the correct client folders.
• Answer and transfer calls on a multi-line switchboard within three rings.
• Take clear phone messages and send them by email straight away.

• Well presented, punctual and organised
• At least 1 year on reception or a front desk
• Discreet with confidential information
• Matric
• You can juggle a ringing phone and a waiting visitor at once

• Medical billing or practice software experience
• Typing speed above 40 wpm

• Normal office hours, Monday to Friday
• Safe, secure parking
• Annual bonus (13th cheque) at many practices

• List the phone systems and booking software you have used; practices look for people who need little training.
• Answer the recruiter's call the way you would answer at work: greeting, your name and a smile in your voice.
