Merchandiser (Grocery Rep Route)

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a hardware and building store in Benoni, so shoppers find what they came for. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

You'll be based at a hardware and building store in Benoni. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle

• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Neat appearance and punctual

• Some till or cash-handling experience
• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles

• Chance to move into till or department roles
• Travel allowance on merchandising routes
