Merchandiser (Grocery Rep Route) – Immediate Start

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a neighbourhood supermarket in Sandton, so shoppers find what they came for. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is Sandton-based, with most of your time spent at a neighbourhood supermarket.

• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs

• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Grade 10 or matric
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift

• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Some till or cash-handling experience

• Travel allowance on merchandising routes
