Job Description

This dairy producer needs a rep in Cape Town CBD who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll be based at a dairy producer in Cape Town CBD. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.

What you need

1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
Matric
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners

Helpful, not essential

A sales or marketing certificate
Speaking two or more local languages
Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
