Job Description

You'll cover a route of stores around Coega, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is in Coega (Eastern Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What you'll actually do

Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.

You'll need

Matric
You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves

Nice if you have

Speaking two or more local languages
A sales or marketing certificate
