Merchandiser (Supermarket Route) – Entry Level

Out on the road for a pet food manufacturer in Tembisa, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Location: Tembisa, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.

• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting

• Product samples and staff pricing
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Cellphone and data allowance
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts

• Name the areas you know and the store types you have serviced (supermarket chains, independents, spazas) in your CV summary.
• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
