Job Description

Keep throughput up and the plant stable at the gold processing plant near Polokwane. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Location: Polokwane, Limpopo. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Log plant readings and downtime on the shift log
Hand over the plant to the next shift with a clear status report
Take samples at set times and bring them to the lab
Start up, run and shut down crushers, screens and conveyors in sequence
Clear blocked chutes safely under isolation
Call maintenance for bearing noise, belt damage or leaks

You'll need

Comfortable around noise, dust and heights while wearing full PPE
At least 1 year operating a processing plant
Basic computer skills for SCADA screens and logs
Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
MQA minerals processing certificate at NQF 2 or higher
Certificate of fitness from the mine medical station
