Job Description

Early starts, clear routes and people depending on you: a school transport operator in East London is hiring bus drivers. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Location: East London, Eastern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points

Must-haves

At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Punctual for very early starts
Medically fit

Nice if you have

First-aid certificate
Tour coach experience with charters
Experience on mine or staff transport routes
