Job Description

You'll carry passengers safely around Ballito for a mine shift transport service, on time and by the timetable. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

This post is Ballito-based, with most of your time spent at a mine shift transport service. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

The work, day to day

Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits

What you need

Punctual for very early starts
Patient and friendly with passengers
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Medically fit

Helpful, not essential

Fluent in more than one language
Tour coach experience with charters
