Officers look to you on every shift at a guarding contract across several sites in Fourways. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a guarding contract across several sites in Fourways. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries

• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites

• Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app

• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Cellphone allowance
• Management training for growth to operations manager
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles

• Mention how you handled absenteeism or roster gaps. It is the biggest daily headache for security companies.
• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
