Job Description

A security company in Mahikeng wants a firm, fair supervisor for its retail portfolio. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Mahikeng-based, with most of your time spent at a retail portfolio.

The work, day to day

Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Do surprise night visits to check posts
Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client

You'll need

Matric, with a security management course a plus
Available after hours for emergencies
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Firm with staff but fair and consistent

Extra points for

Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
Mining or hospital security experience
Own reliable vehicle
