Mine Security Supervisor – Immediate Start

Officers look to you on every shift at a retail portfolio in Mamelodi. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is in Mamelodi (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current

• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters

• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Cellphone allowance

• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
