Job Description

Steady shift work with a tour and charter company in Johannesburg CBD for drivers with a passenger PrDP. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is a tour and charter company on the Johannesburg CBD side of Gauteng. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives

What you need

Clean driving and criminal record
Patient and friendly with passengers
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving

Nice if you have

Tour coach experience with charters
Fluent in more than one language
