Job Description

Steady shift work with a school transport operator in Soweto for drivers with a passenger PrDP. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll report in Soweto. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What your day looks like

Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel

You'll need

Patient and friendly with passengers
Medically fit
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Clean driving and criminal record

Extra points for

First-aid certificate
Experience on mine or staff transport routes
Fluent in more than one language
