Night Shift Security Officer (Grade D)

You'll control who comes in and out of a gated residential estate in Coega, and log every visitor properly. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll be based at a gated residential estate in Coega. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register

• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Speaks and writes basic English
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• Physically fit for foot patrols

• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Stable long-term site contracts
• Provident fund contributions
