Office Cleaner (Morning Shift)

You'll keep a corporate office park in Kempton Park clean, stocked and fresh before the people arrive. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a corporate office park on the Kempton Park side of Gauteng. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Wipe desks, door handles, lift buttons and light switches
• Refill toilet paper, hand towel and soap dispensers
• Report broken fittings, leaks or empty stock to the site supervisor
• Empty bins and take waste to the correct recycling or general skip
• Run a scrubber-dryer machine on large tiled areas

• Able to start early, often 05:00 or 06:00
• Able to stand, bend and walk for a full shift
• Clean criminal record for most corporate sites
• Grade 10 or higher
• Honest, because you work around laptops and personal items

• Supervisory experience for team leader posts
• Previous contract cleaning experience with a reference

• Paid overtime for weekend deep cleans
• Permanent contract once the site contract is secured
• Uniform and cleaning gloves provided
• UIF and paid leave under the cleaning sector rules

• Ask a former supervisor if you can put their number on your CV. Cleaning contractors almost always phone a reference.
• Mention any machines you can use, like a scrubber or polisher. Machine cleaners are harder to find and often get picked first.
