Office Cleaner (Morning Shift)

A cleaning contractor in Potchefstroom needs dependable cleaners for a shopping centre. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Potchefstroom; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors following the daily cleaning schedule
• Refill toilet paper, hand towel and soap dispensers
• Sign the ablution checklist on the back of the door after each clean
• Mix cleaning chemicals at the dilution shown on the label, never by guesswork
• Clean the kitchenette, wash cups and wipe down the fridge and microwave
• Wipe desks, door handles, lift buttons and light switches
• Clean glass doors and internal windows without streaks

• Grade 10 or higher
• Clean criminal record for most corporate sites
• You take pride in a job done properly, even when nobody checks
• Able to start early, often 05:00 or 06:00
• Able to stand, bend and walk for a full shift
• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals safely with gloves

• Chemical handling training from a supplier or contractor
• Tea service or kitchen experience

• Permanent contract once the site contract is secured
• Uniform and cleaning gloves provided
• Paid overtime for weekend deep cleans
• UIF and paid leave under the cleaning sector rules
