Order Picker (Cold Store) – Permanent

You'll keep a busy spares and hardware warehouse in Mokopane stocked, picked and moving out on time. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Location: Mokopane, Limpopo. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker

• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• You can read product codes and count accurately

• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied

• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
