Order Picker (Cold Store) – Permanent

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Paarl, and nobody minds if it's your first job. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The site is in Paarl; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule

• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
