Order Picker (Cold Store) – Entry Level

Every order that leaves this building-supplies depot in Rustenburg passes through your hands first. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll report in Rustenburg. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane

• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• You can read product codes and count accurately

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
