Order Picker (Cold Store)

Every order that leaves this clothing distribution centre in Springs passes through your hands first. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is in Springs (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight

• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• South African ID or a valid work permit

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse

• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
