Job Description

You'll sort, grade and pack fruit for export at an avocado packhouse near Stellenbosch. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is an avocado packhouse on the Stellenbosch side of Western Cape.

The work, day to day

Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
Pack cartons to the export pattern and weight
Move pallets into cold rooms and record temperatures
Stick labels and batch codes on each carton
Check fruit samples and record quality results on the QC sheet

Must-haves

Basic counting and reading for labels
Able to stand at a line for long shifts
Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
Arrives on time for early shifts
Valid ID or permit
Quick and neat with your hands

Nice if you have

Forklift licence for palletising roles
Previous packhouse work
