Job Description

Quick hands and good eyes are all a berry packing facility near eMalahleni really needs from you. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is in eMalahleni (Mpumalanga). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What your day looks like

Follow food safety rules like hand washing and no jewellery
Check fruit samples and record quality results on the QC sheet
Move pallets into cold rooms and record temperatures
Build pallets to the correct height and strap them
Keep your packing station clean and free of stems and leaves

What you need

Arrives on time for early shifts
Able to stand at a line for long shifts
Valid ID or permit
Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
Quick and neat with your hands

Helpful, not essential

Previous packhouse work
Matric for QC posts
Forklift licence for palletising roles
