Job Description

Fruit from a citrus packhouse near eMalahleni ends up on shelves overseas, packed by your hands. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Location: eMalahleni, Mpumalanga. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What your day looks like

Pack cartons to the export pattern and weight
Stack empty cartons and punnets ready for the next run
Stick labels and batch codes on each carton
Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
Follow food safety rules like hand washing and no jewellery

Must-haves

Valid ID or permit
Basic counting and reading for labels
Able to stand at a line for long shifts
Quick and neat with your hands
Follows hygiene rules at all times
Available for the full packing season including Saturdays

Nice if you have

Knowledge of export standards like GLOBALG.A.P.
Previous packhouse work
Forklift licence for palletising roles
