Parts Interpreter (Counter & Workshop) – Immediate Start

If you know cars and like people, this franchised car dealership in East London has a front counter spot for you. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll report in East London. Relocation is not covered for this one. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Pick, pack and issue parts to technicians against job cards
• Book in vehicles, walk around with the customer and note existing damage
• Phone customers with extra work found and get approval in writing
• Order stock and special parts, and follow up on back orders
• Submit warranty claims with photos and technician reports
• Handle complaints calmly and find a fix with the workshop manager

• Matric, plus a motor industry background
• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems
• Calm and polite with customers, even when they are upset
• Accurate when capturing part numbers and prices

• Some mechanical training or a trade background
• Parts interpreter or service advisor course through merSETA
• Brand-specific warranty system training

• Company uniform
• Monthly CSI bonus for customer ratings
• Commission on parts sales or workshop turnover
