Parts Salesperson (Aftermarket Spares)

The workshop runs on good bookings and the right parts. This truck and bus dealership in Midrand needs you on that side. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Location: Midrand, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Order stock and special parts, and follow up on back orders
• Invoice completed jobs and explain the invoice at collection
• Phone customers with extra work found and get approval in writing
• Handle complaints calmly and find a fix with the workshop manager
• Look up part numbers in the electronic parts catalogue using the VIN

• Computer literate with a dealer management system or parts software
• Matric, plus a motor industry background
• At least 2 years as a service advisor, parts interpreter or in a similar counter role
• Code 08 licence
• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems

• Some mechanical training or a trade background
• Experience in a customer satisfaction survey-driven dealership
• Brand-specific warranty system training

• Commission on parts sales or workshop turnover
• Paid brand training
• Monthly CSI bonus for customer ratings
