Paving Team Labourer

Strong, willing hands are wanted on a school building project in Rustenburg. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The work is in Rustenburg, North West, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Carry bricks, blocks and cement bags to where the bricklayers work
• Clear rubble and load it into skips
• Mix concrete and mortar by hand or with a small mixer
• Set up barriers, cones and signs around open trenches
• Help offload deliveries of steel, timber and pipes
• Erect and strip shutters and simple scaffolding under supervision
• Clean tools, mixers and wheelbarrows at the end of each day

• Grade 8 or higher
• A clean record is preferred for some government sites
• You take safety rules seriously and wear full PPE
• Able to follow instructions from a foreman or artisan

• Paid weekly or fortnightly
• Boots, hard hat and overalls issued on site
• Overtime on weekend pours and deadline days

• If a foreman can vouch for you, put their number on your CV. Site hiring runs on word of mouth.
