Job Description

Strong, willing hands are wanted on a townhouse construction site in Tembisa. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Location: Tembisa, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What you'll actually do

Sign the daily safety talk register before work starts
Help offload deliveries of steel, timber and pipes
Pass tools and materials to the plumber or electrician as needed
Clear rubble and load it into skips
Clean tools, mixers and wheelbarrows at the end of each day
Compact soil and layer bedding sand with a plate compactor

Must-haves

A clean record is preferred for some government sites
Grade 8 or higher
Willing to start early, often at 06:30
You take safety rules seriously and wear full PPE
Physically strong and fit for outdoor work in all weather
