Payroll Clerk (Sage 300 People, Weekly Paid Staff)

People get paid right and on time because of you at a labour-heavy mining contractor in Lephalale. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Location: Lephalale, Limpopo. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions
• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
• Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private

• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay

• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
• SAPP registration as a Payroll Practitioner
• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting

• Paid SAPP membership
• Remote work outside payroll week
• Structured increases linked to certification
