Payroll Officer (VIP Payroll) – Permanent

A security services company in Epping needs a payroll person who never misses a cut-off. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates
• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
• Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions
• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off

• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll

• SAPP registration as a Payroll Practitioner
• Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector
• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
