Job Description

You'll run weekly and monthly payrolls for a payroll bureau in Fourways, from clock data to bank file. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The work is in Fourways, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling

What you need

At least 2 years of full-function payroll
Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay

Helpful, not essential

Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector
