Payroll Officer (VIP Payroll) – Immediate Start

People get paid right and on time because of you at a hospitality group in Midrand. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a hospitality group on the Midrand side of Gauteng. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions
• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Release the salary bank file for authorisation

• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma

• Paid SAPP membership
• Remote work outside payroll week
• Structured increases linked to certification

• Never attach real payslips from a past employer; blank out names if you use one as an example.
• Say how many employees you paid and how often, such as "1,200 weekly-paid staff on VIP"; volume matters.
