Payroll Officer (VIP Payroll) – Fixed-Term

Accurate payslips, clean tax filings and happy staff: that's the job at a security services company in Springs. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Home base is a security services company on the Springs side of Gauteng.

• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates
• Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private
• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings

• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move

• Remote work outside payroll week
• Structured increases linked to certification
• Paid SAPP membership
• Group life and disability cover

• Say how many employees you paid and how often, such as "1,200 weekly-paid staff on VIP"; volume matters.
• Mention EMP501 and IRP5 by name; employers want proof you can handle the year-end tax cycle.
