Job Description

For a motor spares shop in Hammarsdale, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work is in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands

What you need

Good sense of direction and map reading
Able to work Saturdays
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Clean driving record and no criminal record
At least 1 year of driving experience

Nice if you have

Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
PrDP for staff shuttle posts

What you get

Branded uniform and rain gear
Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
Fuel card for work trips

How to apply for this job

Check you meet the must-haves first; recruiters filter on those before anything else.
Keep copies of these ready to send: certified ID and a recent proof of address, Code 8 or motorbike licence copy plus a CV with any delivery or courier work.
Fill in the short form below with your name and a phone number you actually answer.
Watch for a call or WhatsApp from How2Apply over the next 7 working days.

Your application joins the How2Apply talent pool for this role, and we put shortlisted people forward to employers hiring in and around Hammarsdale.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

How to stand out

For owner-driver jobs, list your vehicle's make, year and load size. They hire the vehicle as much as the driver.
Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
