Job Description

A logistics software company in Brackenfell needs a developer who can take a ticket from idea to production. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a logistics software company on the Brackenfell side of Western Cape.

What your day looks like

Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
Build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs
Pair with junior developers to unblock them
Handle personal data safely, with POPIA rules in mind
Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Review teammates' pull requests with useful comments

You'll need

You can explain technical choices to non-technical people
Experience writing automated tests
A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build
Commercial experience in at least one of PHP, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript
Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
