Job Description

Write clean code, review pull requests and fix what breaks at a logistics software company in Roodepoort. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The work is in Roodepoort, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

The work, day to day

Pick up tickets from the sprint board and estimate the work
Handle personal data safely, with POPIA rules in mind
Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs
Write, test and refactor code in your team's main language
Design database tables and write efficient SQL queries

You'll need

Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
You can explain technical choices to non-technical people
A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build
Good SQL and understanding of relational databases
