Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a spares and hardware warehouse in eMalahleni. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a spares and hardware warehouse on the eMalahleni side of Mpumalanga. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes

• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
