Pick & Pack Hand (Online Orders)

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Isando, and nobody minds if it's your first job. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is in Isando (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking

• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
