Pick & Pack Hand (Online Orders) – Permanent

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a frozen-food distribution centre in Randburg, and nobody minds if it's your first job. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

The work is in Randburg, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking

• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)

• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
