Plasterer (Internal and External Walls)

You'll build it with your hands: walls, floors, roofs and finishes on the shopping centre extension in Polokwane. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The site is in Polokwane; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Wear your hard hat, boots and harness wherever the foreman says
• Lay face brick and plaster brick to line, level and plumb
• Mix mortar and plaster to the right ratio for the job
• Plaster walls and float them to a smooth, even finish
• Fix roof trusses, purlins and brandering for ceilings

• Punctual every morning, even in winter
• Physically strong enough for a full day of lifting and bending outside
• Proven experience in at least one trade, shown by references or a practical test
• Understands basic site safety like scaffolds and open trenches
• Willing to move between sites in the same city
• Able to follow a foreman's instructions and read basic measurements

• Weekly or fortnightly pay, always on time
• PPE supplied: hard hat, gloves, reflective vest
• UIF and COIDA registration from day one
• Transport from a pick-up point to site

• Be ready to do a short practical test on site. Arrive early with your own tools if you have them.
• Bring photos of your work on your phone. A foreman believes a straight wall more than a long CV.
