Job Description

Parents at this Montessori pre-school in Brakpan trust you with their children every morning. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a Montessori pre-school on the Brakpan side of Gauteng.

The work, day to day

Help aftercare learners with homework and reading
Plan themes and holiday programmes with the principal
Feed, change and settle babies and toddlers on their routine
Clean and sanitise toys, mats and tables at the end of the day
Set up daily learning areas for art, blocks, reading and fantasy play
Run morning ring with songs, weather and counting

Must-haves

Experience caring for children in a group setting, even as a volunteer
Clear Form 30 child protection check and police clearance
ECD Level 4 or Level 5 qualification, or currently studying towards one
Paediatric first aid certificate
