Plumber for Geyser Installations – Fixed-Term

You'll sort out burst geysers, leaks and blockages for the commercial building contractor in Bloemfontein. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll be based at a commercial building contractor in Bloemfontein. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Issue plumbing Certificates of Compliance for completed installations
• Trace hidden leaks using pressure tests and moisture readings
• Replace burst geysers and fit vacuum breakers, drip trays and pressure control valves to SANS 10254
• Fit toilets, basins, showers and mixers to the client's chosen finishes
• Take photos and complete the insurer's claim report after each geyser job

• Working knowledge of SANS 10252-1 and SANS 10254
• PIRB registration as a Licensed Plumber, so you can issue plumbing CoCs
• Able to talk politely to home owners about damage and costs
• At least 3 years as a qualified plumber, including geyser replacements

• Experience with insurance repair work and claim paperwork
• Drain camera and high-pressure jetting experience
• Heat pump and solar geyser installation experience

• Paid PIRB renewal fee
• Call-out bonus for every after-hours job you complete
• Protective clothing and safety boots replaced yearly
