Plumber for Geyser Installations – Permanent

Plumbing work that keeps Bloemfontein homes and buildings running: this commercial building contractor needs a trade-tested plumber. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll be based at a commercial building contractor in Bloemfontein. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Service booster pumps, pressure tanks and water storage tanks
• Work on the emergency call-out roster for after-hours bursts
• Trace hidden leaks using pressure tests and moisture readings
• Replace burst geysers and fit vacuum breakers, drip trays and pressure control valves to SANS 10254
• Fit toilets, basins, showers and mixers to the client's chosen finishes

• At least 3 years as a qualified plumber, including geyser replacements
• Fit enough to lift a 150-litre geyser with a helper and work in tight roof spaces
• Working knowledge of SANS 10252-1 and SANS 10254
• Able to talk politely to home owners about damage and costs
• Code 08 licence and a clean driving record
• Plumbing trade test certificate or an Occupational Certificate: Plumber (NQF 4)

• Drain camera and high-pressure jetting experience
• Heat pump and solar geyser installation experience
