Plumber for Geyser Installations

This property management company in Pretoria West needs a plumber who arrives on time, fixes it properly and leaves the site clean. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Location: Pretoria West, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Take photos and complete the insurer's claim report after each geyser job
• Service booster pumps, pressure tanks and water storage tanks
• Replace burst geysers and fit vacuum breakers, drip trays and pressure control valves to SANS 10254
• Fit toilets, basins, showers and mixers to the client's chosen finishes
• Clear blocked drains with a rodding machine and inspect lines with a drain camera
• Issue plumbing Certificates of Compliance for completed installations
• Work on the emergency call-out roster for after-hours bursts

• At least 3 years as a qualified plumber, including geyser replacements
• Able to talk politely to home owners about damage and costs
• Working knowledge of SANS 10252-1 and SANS 10254
• Fit enough to lift a 150-litre geyser with a helper and work in tight roof spaces
• PIRB registration as a Licensed Plumber, so you can issue plumbing CoCs
• Code 08 licence and a clean driving record

• Drain camera and high-pressure jetting experience
• Heat pump and solar geyser installation experience
