Plumber for Geyser Installations – Immediate Start

Know your way around SANS 10254 and a geyser drip tray? The residential plumbing company in Prospecton wants to hear from you. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll report in Prospecton. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Issue plumbing Certificates of Compliance for completed installations
• Order fittings from the supplier and keep the van stocked
• Service booster pumps, pressure tanks and water storage tanks
• Replace burst geysers and fit vacuum breakers, drip trays and pressure control valves to SANS 10254
• Fit toilets, basins, showers and mixers to the client's chosen finishes
• Trace hidden leaks using pressure tests and moisture readings

• PIRB registration as a Licensed Plumber, so you can issue plumbing CoCs
• Able to talk politely to home owners about damage and costs
• Fit enough to lift a 150-litre geyser with a helper and work in tight roof spaces
• At least 3 years as a qualified plumber, including geyser replacements
• Working knowledge of SANS 10252-1 and SANS 10254

• SAQCC Gas registration for LPG installations
• Heat pump and solar geyser installation experience
